Our Story

We’re Darcy and Natasha, and our journey together started in the Lower Mainland of BC back in 2015. Darcy was working in rebar and pursuing his red seal (carpentry certification) , while I was climbing the ladder in retail management.

From the start, we shared a dream, to build something meaningful that went beyond our individual careers.

We first began to explore custom work when we lived in Penticton. In our spare time, we took on projects that allowed us to be creative and hands-on, from designing wedding arches and garden sheds to transforming office spaces. It wasn’t long before we realized that these side projects meant more to us than just building physical things, they were about helping people bring their visions to life and making a genuine connection with every client.

In March 2023, we made our biggest move yet with our two kids and dogs to Alberta. With that move, we decided to turn our passion into something full-time. In March 2024, we officially launched our business, and with it, a clear mission: to change the way people are treated in the construction industry.

Why We Believe in a People-First Approach

Too often in the construction world, we’ve seen clients left in the dark and workers undervalued. We knew that if we were going to build something, it had to be more than just a company, it had to be a place where everyone feels respected and educated. For us, being people-first means prioritizing the well-being of our team and creating a work environment where everyone, from employees to clients feels heard and valued. To making sure we have an open line of clear communication with our clients, that they feel heard, that their time and space is also respected. 

 

We believe open communication is key, and that transparency throughout the process allows clients to truly feel a part of their own projects.

Locally, we’re committed to sourcing materials from nearby suppliers whenever possible and supporting other small businesses, creating a ripple effect that strengthens our community.

We’re passionate about investing in people, whether it’s our sub contractors, our clients, or our neighbours; and that creates a cycle of trust and support that benefits everyone.
